The Alberta Foundation for the Arts has announced that Sid Marty is one of three Albertans shortlisted for the 2008 Grant MacEwan Literary Arts Award, our newest and also one of our most generous literary prizes. The other two finalists are Edmonton book advocate Laurie Greenwood and Calgary poet Christopher Wiseman. The winner will be announced at the Alberta Arts Day celebration at the Jubilee Auditorium, September 6, 2008.
