Reservation desk at  403 342 0467. Sid Marty will read from Oldman's River, New and Collected Poems and perform original songs on guitar and mandolin. This event is part of the Crowsnest Pass Heritage Days Festival.

Saturday August 5th, 6-8PM, BLAIRMORE AB. Pass Beer Co. 10801 20th Ave (main street).Musical performance with Wailback featuring Jim McLennan on lead guitar for the first set. This event is part of the Crowsnest Pass Heritage Days Festival.

Wailback is Jim McLennan, lead guitar; Sid Marty, vocals, guitars, mandolin, harmonicas; James Van Leeuwen, vocals, guitar: Joe Cunningham, hand drums.

Saturday September 23, 2023 11.15AM, Featured Author at Lethbridge Herald Tent at Word On the Street, Main Branch Lethbridge Public Library. Reading featuring Oldman's River, New and Collected Poems. Address: 810 5th Ave S.

Wednesday, October 18th, 2023.  Sheep River Library (in the town formerly known as Turner Valley) "Time: 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  as part of the Out Loud series. Cost: "Due to the anticipated popularity of this event, admission will be by ticket only. You can pick up your FREE ticket for this event at the library from September 15." So says the library. I will feature my book Oldman's River and play some original songs on guitar and (maybe) mandola.

Friday November 3, 12.30-1.30PM, Max Bell Auditorium, the Banff Centre. Featured Author Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival (takes place  October 28-November 5 2023).   Reading from Oldman's River, New and Collected Poems and performing some original songs.

Friday, November 17. Music concert, Asylum for the Arts, Calgary with Wailback  

January 13 2024.  Wailback takes the stage at the Lethbridge Folk Club. Venue t.b.a.

February 29, 2024. Have mandola will travel. Pincher Creek Library, 6.30 PM. Solo, featuring my book Oldman's River, New and Collected Poems and some related songs.

July 18-21 2024, A featured author/poet at the Moose Jaw Festival of Words,  one of my favorite summer events and along with Festival of Words and Banff Book Fest., one of the great lit. festivals. More details to follow.

October 25, 2024. Wailback plays Rocky Mountain Folk Club, Rosedale Community Hall, 901 11th Ave N.W. Calgary.
